They are seeking an Occupational Therapist who is eager to take an independent caseload within their area of interest and join their North Parramatta team. The Role:

• Undertake assessments – assessment of daily living capabilities and provide intervention with a focus on evidence-based practice.
• Major and minor home modification recommendations
• Prescription of equipment, assistive technologies and other therapy supports
• Liaison with family and other relevant stakeholders
• Providing treatment, guidance and education to individuals and their carers.
• Caseloads are tailored to interest and professional goals

Requirements:

• Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Therapy (with upcoming or current AHPRA registration)
• A passion for facilitating and enabling meaningful outcomes for people with disability and their families
• Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families to ensure that therapy is fun and engaging.
• Current driver’s license and car
• Working with Children Check, National Police Check, Children’s First Aid training (or willingness to obtain these).
