This dedicated and passionate OT-owned service welcomes a Senior Occupational Therapist, eager to support a growing team of junior therapists in reaching their full potential. This role will see you shape and develop junior Occupational Therapists through igniting their passion for quality service delivery. Share your paediatric expertise as you endeavor to aid clients and work as a team to provide best practice services.

This dedicated service provides therapeutic supports to clients living with a disability in the Western Sydney region. The Role:

  • Undertake assessments – assessment of daily living capabilities and provide intervention with a focus on evidence-based practice.
  • Provide clinical supervision, knowledge, and support to junior therapists.
  • Work alongside and collaborate with the OT Director
  • Liaison with families and other relevant stakeholders
  • Providing treatment, guidance and education to individuals and their carers.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Therapy (with AHPRA registration)
  • A passion for facilitating and enabling meaningful outcomes for people with disability and their families
  • Desire to work with and support Junior therapists
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
  • Current driver’s license and car
  • Working with Children Check, National Police Check, First Aid training (or willingness to obtain these).
  • Occupational Therapy and paediatric NDIS experience
