Their collaborative and relationship-focused team is growing and they are looking to recruit a friendly and motivated Occupational Therapist for their Cairns, QLD team! They offer an exceptional induction and ongoing support to their new staff, giving them a great start with their team!  

 

The role:

This role offers an exciting opportunity working on an interesting and varied caseload with a focus on adult cases. You will:

  • Conduct assessments and provide evidence-based OT interventions to a great mix of clients
  • Therapy and interventions will be carried out in clients’ homes
  • Prescribe equipment and assistive technologies & arrange any training required.
  • Provide home modification recommendations.
  • Where needed, you will liaise and provide education to families, carers & other stakeholders
  • Complete high-quality reports and communication to a range of stakeholders
  • Work in a collaborative culture with a friendly team that supports everyone to achieve their best.
  • Make a positive impact on the growth and success of the Cairns

 

The candidate:

You will be joining a flourishing company committed to providing you with a rewarding role in their team, and you will come to the role with the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy (with AHPRA registration)
  • At least 12 months experience in a similar role, working with adults in particular.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families to ensure that therapy is fun and engaging.
  • Eager to learn and contribute to the fun team environment & supportive culture
  • Current driver’s license and car
